Apartment availability has increased dramatically in the Round Rock area with the recent completion of several new, upscale complexes. However, the rents are anything but upscale! With hundreds of new units available, the complexes are offering some very attractive move-in specials. In some units, you can move in for as little as $199, with rent in the $700-800 range.

No, you don't need to be a first time homebuyer to take advantage of the $8000 tax credit that good old Uncle Sam is offering. If you haven't owned in the last 3 years, you can also qualify. There's lots of confusion out there about this credit. Believe it or not, you can buy in 2009, but take the credit against your 2008 taxes! Assuming you have already filed, you can amend your 2008 tax return and take advantage of the credit. As always, there are some limitations, so contact me for more info!
